Accessibility Statement.
ASPG is committed to making our website and learning platforms usable by everyone. Last reviewed 05 June 2026.
Our commitment
ASPG University is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards to remove barriers across the website (aspguniversity.com), the library (library.aspguniversity.com), the student kiosk, and the short-course learning environment.
Conformance standard
We design and build to WCAG 2.1 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level AA) as our target. The site is partially conformant at the time of this statement — see "Known limitations" below.
Features that support accessibility
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy, landmarks and form labels.
- Keyboard-navigable interface, including the email-reveal control on contact pages.
- Sufficient contrast ratios across our crimson, emerald, gold and ink palette.
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Alt text on photographs (decorative-only photos are marked as such).
- Mobile-first responsive design that works at all viewport widths.
- Captioned video (where we host video content directly).
Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following issues and are working to address them:
- Some legacy PDF documents in the library are not yet tagged for screen-reader use. We are progressively replacing them.
- Embedded third-party video (YouTube) provides its own captioning; we cannot guarantee captions on every external video.
- The Moodle environment for long-degree coursework is accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA, but third-party plugins may add limitations.
Assistive technologies
The Site has been tested for compatibility with the latest versions of:
- Screen readers — NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack.
- Voice-control software — Dragon NaturallySpeaking, macOS / iOS Voice Control.
- Browser zoom and OS-level magnification.
