DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN POLITICS AND LAW
COURSE SUMMARY The Doctor of Philosophy in Politics and Law is a 3-year research-based program offered by Africa School of Politics and Governance at ASPG University. The program is delivered 100 percent online and is designed to produce scholars, policy advisors, and leaders who understand the interaction between politics, constitutional law, and moral foundations. The program uses a 3-lens framework for analysis: Political Practice, Constitutional Law, and Scripture. Students will examine how politics and law function across different nations, compare political theories with legal systems, and evaluate governance against constitutional and biblical standards. The degree culminates in an original PhD thesis that must produce both academic contribution and a practical policy roadmap for legal development in Africa and globally.
