Doctor of Laws - LLD in Constitutional Law
Programme Philosophy / Purpose
This LLD pathway trains senior scholars and reformers in comparative constitutional law and government legal systems. The program studies all world constitutions and their government legal systems across Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Germany, India, Japan, Europe, Asia and China. Year 1 is survey and learning of topics only. Year 2 is deep analysis of constitutional principles plus desk research. Year 3 is field research, defense, impact and implementation of reform.
All constitutions are judged against the final standard: biblical principles on justice, righteousness, and human dignity. Graduates will produce a doctoral thesis + constitutional amendment draft + legal opinion that contributes to governance and justice in Africa.
